Bees & Honey for Kids

Mum & Preschoolers recently enjoyed a Bee & Honey Workshop in the healing garden. Low income families were invited to this free event, where they got to enjoy looking inside a bee hive, looking for the queen bee, and most importantly a delicious taste of the golden honey. Families also enjoyed a cuppa and play in the new garden sand pit and dry river bed, recently created by our volunteer Wwoofers. Woofers are backpackers traveling the country and have volunteered many hours in creating the community space.

Families were delighted to inspect The Whistling Bee Keepers hives.
